The Union Cabinet has approved national Steel policy which will help Indian steel industry to be competitive. Under NSP india will target to produce 300 million tons of Steel by 2030.

Tata Steel Q1 profit doubles to Rs 1,934 cr on strong Europe, India growth

Good News call Tata steel share holders, in this financial quarter Tata Steel has reported highest ever output With the production of 12.48 million tonne (MT) of the steel. This happened because of the excellent performance from the Kalinganagar plant, here companies using modern technology and latest machinery.

Overall the Company production has increased by 7 per cent as compared to 11.68 MT the company produced in the last financial year. In the financial year 2016-17, company had registered a sales of 10.97 MT . This is the first time company has able to achieve the target of export of 1 million tonnes of steel at annual exports.


India grab second position in crude steel production

Good news for India as India grab second position in crude steel production. The overall production capacity of crude Steel in India is no 8.4 million and the in last one year, steel companies has worked very hard and now the production capacity of India is increased by 3.4%.

The global crude steel production(by all the companies of the world) was 132 million tonne which was 3.5 percent more from the last year. As India's production capacity has increased because of that India grabbed second position after Japan slipped to third position.

Tata Steel offered to pay Rs 35,200 crore in cash, and remaining Rs 27,000 crore into equity, to take over Bhushan Steel Ltd. As per the counsel for the committee of creditors, Tata Steel which is a leading steel manufacturing company of India has offered to pay Rs 35,200 crore in cash, and remaining Rs 27,000 crore into equity, to take over Bhushan Steel Ltd. With this move Creditors will get 12.27 percent equity in Bhushan Steel.

With this deal Tata Steel will able to expend their operations, presently bhushan Steel has a financial debt of Rs 56,051 crore and operational debt of Rs 1,050 crore and company has a liquidation value of Rs 14,541 crore.

Usha Martin is world's largest wire rope manufacturing company of the world and has been counted among leading Steel manufacturing companies of India. Thyssenkrupp deal to help Tata Steel strengthen India base: N Chandrasekaran

As per Mr Chandrasekaran - Tata Steel is in expension mode and company is planning to increase the production from the current 13 MT of capacity to around 25 MT," Chandrasekaran.
